MOST, the Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science & Technology, is located in the Armory Square District. The museum also features a 24 foot Planetarium and the Bristol IMAX Omnitheater, a six-story domed screen.

2010-02-04 23:59:09 When winter rolls in, the MOST becomes critical to Syracuse-area parents. I moved into town in 2007, when the MOST was just being renovated. They added a five-story "Science Playhouse" where it's virtually impossible for a child as young as three to get (seriously) injured. It's a science teaching tool in the same way that making macaroni and cheese is a lesson in fine cuisine. Lots of climbing up and sliding down. And there are air guns in the middle that shoot foam balls.
My only gripe is that the MOST apparently has no money for maintenance. If you hear about a new exhibit, get there fast, 'cuz it'll be broken within a month. —aaronm
